Our SERVE team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on the Host Team, to partnering with parents to lead the next generation to Jesus by serving as a River Kids Partner, to crafting a dynamic Sunday morning experience with the Worship Team. We are here to Love All and Serve All!

GREETERS TEAM

Our team brings a personal touch to all events held at River Run by hosting our guests well.

GUEST SERVICES TEAM

Our team helps connect people to resources and information about weekend services, Small Groups, and events.

USHERS

Our team assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.

PARKING TEAM

Our team serves as the first impression for those coming to Highlands by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.

Requirements: Age: 15+

VIP HOST TEAM

Our team hosts our TeamServe members in Team areas around campus by providing food and encouragement during services and special events.

FIRST RESPONDERS

Our team of health care professionals serves by providing basic medical care in the event of an accident or emergency.

Requirements: Medical certification, Background check

EVENTS TEAM

Our team serves at conferences and church-wide events by setting up decorations and facilitating meals and snacks.

RIVER RUN WORSHIP

Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering.

Requirements: Audition, training process, Background check

Our team assists in the production of the overall worship experience, using lights, cameras, and other visual elements.

PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM

Our team serves to capture the movement of God through His people on film…or memory card 😉

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM

Our team connects with guests of River Run in our community and around the world through online conversations.

We use our gift of administration to support River Run by using computer skills, data entry, and attention to detail.

Our team serves as the hosts of Step In the River, greeting guests and providing materials and assistance to those discovering their next steps at River Run.

Our team partners with families to engage children in the love of Jesus. We do this through building meaningful relationships and allowing kids to discover God in ways that are fun! Our tools include biblical teaching through storytelling, games, crafts, drama, and worship, check in and hallway greeters.

RIVER KIDS BUDDYS

Our team serves children with special needs, providing specific and intentional care.

Requirements: Age: 14+, Background check

RIVER RUN STUDENT PARTNERS

Our team equips students with a deep love for Christ while empowering parents to form and influence the heart of their student. We accomplish this by teaching the gospel, providing outreach opportunities, pouring God’s truths into their lives through small groups and one-on-one mentoring situations and providing support and information to the parents.

Just Step in the River!

If you are interested in serving God alongside us here at River Run, let us know by clicking the link below. You should hear back from someone within a day or two that will help get you started. In the meantime, mark your calendar for our next opportunity to Step in the River.

Step in the River is a 1-hour workshop that takes place on the first Sunday of every other month. It will help you put your finger on the heartbeat of River Run while discovering your gifts and passions to set you up on a lifelong adventure of finding joy in connecting and serving with others.  You can find out more and register for the next opportunity here!
