Serve your community

COVID Response Team

With the ongoing pandemic, our staff is dedicated to providing community relief and ways for our church family to get involved in those relief efforts. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and have many opportunities to serve while still making the safety of our team our top priority. Read below to find out ways you can help us serve others.

Making face masks

We are making and collecting facemasks for our community healthcare workers!  We have pulled together some great resources to help us make sure we are providing the best possible protection for those we are serving.  When you have masks you are ready to drop off, we are collecting Mon-Thurs from 10-2 and Sun from 8-2 along with non-perishable foods.

Prayer Team

One of the easiest ways to help is to join our Prayer Team. We have the opportunity to stand with both friends and strangers in their time of need as we lift their physical, mental, and spiritual needs to our Father in Heaven. Our prayer team gets daily updates on prayer requests and praises for both our River Run family and the wider community.

Encouraging Notes

Join us as we encourage others through sending hand-written words of encouragement to our church members and others within our community. This can be easily done from your own home and then dropped off at our church office every Monday-Thursday from
10 AM – 2 PM or on Sundays from 8 AM – 2 PM.

Feed a Family

The Feed A Family program gives you the opportunity to provide a family with balanced meals for a week for just $15!

Your financial gift used in combination with community partnerships & local food banks allow us to effectively meet the specific needs of each individual family.

Thank you for your continued support.

Financial Counselor

Do you work in the financial sector or have expertise in the field and are willing to share your knowledge to help others manage their money well?

We are looking to expand our team of financial counselors. We have needs ranging from helping to create a budget, reducing debt, building savings and answering questions about loans and investments. This team’s goal is to not just help solve the immediate problem, but build relationships and trust between individuals to help circumvent the long term effects of poverty in our community.

Community Networking

Do you have a wide reach within our community? Is your gift one of connection?

We are looking for people to help establish and develop relationships with area businesses that allow us to better serve the needs of our community.
