Help us light the darkness for children in the Dominican Republic by bringing in small gifts and hygiene products that will be delivered to the Lighthouse Community Center in Paraiso in time for Christmas. These gifts will be presented to the children “wrapped” in a reusable string bag. Our goal is to provide a bag filled with gifts for all 200 children who come to the community center to hear about Jesus!

Bring gifts to the Lighting the Darkness display in the Church Lobby by October 30th, 2022.

Some ideas for gifts could include…

Simple games (Nothing that requires batteries), Markers, Coloring book, Colored pencils with a manual sharpener, Bracelets, Slinky, Pop fidget toys, Glow in the dark stars, Toy cars, Squishy toys, Small stuffed animals, Bouncy balls, Small building sets, Fun notebook or journal, Gel pens, Devotional book,  Playdoh and toy sets, Small books, Bead necklaces, Sports balls (deflated w/hand pump), Small puzzles, Toothbrush, Hand lotion, Fun chapstick, Fuzzy socks, Playing cards, Materials for friendship bracelets, Jump rope, Flip flops, Clip LED lights, Earbuds, Hairbrush, T-shirts (Adult sizes, no pink please). 

Please NO candy, gum, food of any kind, toy guns, or items that portray violence or war.
